Launching Ink Link: Where it all began

Hi, I’m Cia — and for the past year, I've been tap tap tapping away at my computer, working on something special to me!

It’s called The Pass-Back Journal, and it’s designed to be a beautiful book that children and their grown-ups fill in together.

It started small. Just a plain notebook passed between me and my daughter because I wanted a better way to connect. Not just a quick “How was your day?” tossed over the clatter of pasta boiling, but something deeper. A space for the big feelings, the silly jokes, and the everyday details that would otherwise slip quietly through the cracks.

The sentimental part of me wanted to hold onto those conversations forever.

So I set out to create something worth keeping. Beautiful. Tactile. Made to last — so one day it could be tucked away in a drawer, pulled out years from now, and opened like a time capsule of who we were, right now.

It’s taken time (and more second-guessing than I’d like to admit), but it’s finally coming to life. Not just as a product, but as the very first release from Ink Link, a small business I started to help people hold onto the conversations that matter most.

Because I truly believe writing things down helps people feel heard. It helps us untangle our thoughts. And it gives families a way to stay close, even when life gets busy and loud.

I'm planning to use this little section of our website as a place to share my thinking and experiences on how the Pass-Back Journal (and hopefully future products) can help bring sparkle, joy and connection to your lives. Thanks for reading along and being here.
